"What was Towfigh Magazine and How it Came to Be?" A Talk & Book-Signing by Dr. Abbas Towfigh

Please join us on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, 6:00 - 8:00 pm in UC Irvine's Humanities Gateway (HG) 1010 for a talk titled "What was Towfigh Magazine and How it Came to Be?" by Dr. Abbas Towfigh (Towfigh Magazine).

Abbas Towfigh taught at several universities in Iran and is a poet, author, writer, satirist, and the former editor-in-chief of "Towfigh" satirical paper. He will discuss the ban on the most influential satirical paper in modern Iranian history.

This talk is in PERSIAN.

The talk will be followed by a book-signing of Dr. Towfigh's latest book.

This event is free and open to the public. No registration is required.
