UCI's campuswide theme for this academic year is ‘The Scholarly Values.’ This session highlights how community engagement at UC Irvine reflects and shapes our core scholarly values. Through a conversation among faculty leading diverse engagement efforts, we aim to surface deeper questions about what unites us as a university, what we stand for, and how we can strengthen our role in public life—especially at a time when trust in higher education is under strain.
