The Center for Asian Studies

The Center for Asian Studies at the University of California, Irvine is comprised of more than 40 interdisciplinary faculty members who study China, Japan, Korea, South Asia, and Southeast Asia and enhance research on the many countries and cultures of Asia. The center provides a forum for discussions of Asia’s past, present, and future and across geographic and disciplinary boundaries both for the campus and the larger community.
