This certificate recognizes specialization in histories of science and technology, medicine, and environment across multiple temporal and geographical contexts. Students may specialize in one or all three. This certificate program may prepare students for graduate study and/or careers in education, medicine, environmental activism and/or policy, public health, and journalism, among others.

Students must complete four courses from the following list and maintain a minimum combined GPA of 3.0. Each course may only be counted towards one certificate, and no substitutions are allowed.
