Afro Caribbean Soundscapes. A Sonic Exhibition and Discussion

El Marchante, a Project of circulation and archiving of Latin American Music based in Caracas and California, is pleased to present a sonic exhibition with the aim of drawing a map of Latin American and Caribbean sounds, pointing at the African roots of many Caribbean rhythms.
Join us for a reception with the people from El Marchante on May 25th at 3:30 pm, followed by a listening session and conversation at 4:00pm.
