Attention all FMS Majors and Minors! We are excited to welcome you as you begin your studies at UC Irvine. To help you navigate a new campus and the Film and Media Studies (FMS) program, we invite you to a series of events on Wednesday, September 27th in Humanities Gateway 1070:
- 12:00 PM: First-Year Student Orientation
- 1:00 PM: Transfer Student Orientation
- 2:00 PM: FMS Welcome & Meet Your Faculty
(*This orientation is for all FMS students)
On your way to your orientation session, drop by and visit our new student lounge on the second floor of Humanities Gateway for some snacks, informational materials, and a free Film and Media Studies t-shirt! All students, new and returning, are encouraged to come learn about changes to our department, courses being offered later this year, and research opportunities.
This is an excellent opportunity to meet and build relationships with our faculty and connect with your fellow classmates (or filmmakers)! We look forward to seeing all of you soon!
