We are excited to announce an upcoming meet and greet event for HumCore first-generation students. We invite those who identify as first gen to join us next Wednesday, April 26th from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in HIB 185. One way to define first gen status is that “neither of your parents or guardians received a four-year college degree.”
Are you a first-generation college student? Are you looking for support, resources, and communities? Please join us for this event: connect with your fellow first-gens in Humanities Core, meet first-gen faculty, and enjoy some free cookies!
We also invite you to fill out this short first-gen survey. The purpose of this survey is to help us understand your needs and preferences as first-gen students so that we could provide future support for you. Please respond by April 25th.
