Jennifer Manoukian is a University of California President’s Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Irvine. Her research explores Ottoman Armenian social and intellectual history, particularly the history of language practices and ideologies. She earned her PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2023 and is currently at work on her book titled In Search of Purity: Language, Ideology and Global Intellectual Movements in Ottoman Armenian History (1750-1915).
