Madeline Collins, incoming senior student with Korean major, has been appointed as a UROP Fellow at UCI. UCI Undergraduate Reserach opportunities Program awards $1000 in support of her proposed research project, "Problems of Cultural Assimilation for North Korean Refugees in South Korea," under the supervision of Professor Kyung Hyun Kim.
Throughout the year, she will be able to present her research results and findings at the UCI Undergraduate Research Symposium scheduled for Saturday, May 19, 2018. In addition, she are invited to submit a research paper for possible publication in The UCI Undergraduate Research Journal.
