Audience is encouraged to read Park’s story, “A Bite of Rockfish, Taste the Universe,” featured in Love in the Big City, which has been long-listed for the 2023 Dublin Literary Award.
Sang Young Park is a novelist. He won the New Writers Award in 2016 for his first story, and his debut collection, Tears of an Unknown Artist or Zaytun Pasta, published in 2018, went into a third print run within one month of publication. Love in the Big City is currently long-listed for the prestigious Booker International prize.
Alexander Chee is a novelist and essayist and most recently the author of How to Write an Autobiographical Novel. He is a 2021 Guggenheim fellow and the editor of Best American Essays 2022. He teaches fiction writing and the essay at Dartmouth College.
