Professor Georges Van Den Abbeele gave the Keynote Lecture at the World Congress of Philosophy held in Beijing in August 2018, "What Does it Mean to be Human in a Time of Rapid Technological Change?: Questions and Provocations." The keynote is forthcoming in Chinese translation in the Chinese journal, Marxist Aesthetics. He has also published several articles since then. Challenges for a Left Populism:  A Response to Chantal Mouffe" in Global Discourse:  An Interdisciplinary Journal of Current Affairs 9:2 (2019) has just been designated "Editor's Choice." "As the World Turns:  Heidegger and the Origin of Poetry," appears in Ranjan Ghosh, ed., Philosophy and Poetry: A Continental Perspective (New York:  Columbia University Press, 2019). "The Post-Marxist Gramsci" appears in Global Discourse:  An Interdisciplinary Journal of Current Affairs 9:2 (2019).  And he has a collaborative project with Audra Eagle Yun and the CiPh project on archives,  "Archives communautaires et communautés d'archives," which is forthcoming in Dialoguer l'archive, edited by Isabelle Alfandary (Paris: INA, 2020).
