The Anteater Virtues research and curriculum project that is hosted by the Center for Knowledge, Technology & Society and directed by Professor Duncan Pritchard has been awarded almost $500K by the John Templeton Foundation to support a program of activities from 2024-27. The focus of these activities will be on whether educating for virtuous intellectual character changes the way students use AI.  As with the existing Anteater Virtues project, which is currently supported by a $1M grant from the John Templeton Foundation, it will involve a collaboration between Professor Pritchard and colleagues in the Schools of Education and Sociology.
