Jie Zhuang is a lecturer at the University of California, Irvine, where she received her Ph.D. in English. Specializing in 18th-century literature, Gothic literature, and feminism, she has published articles on eighteenth-century women’s writing and has taught English literature, composition, and humanities core courses. She is currently teaching Composition and Humanities Core, and is conducting research on Eighteenth-Century women writers’ rhetoric as well as Composition/ESL pedagogy.
