Richard Foltz (Ph.D., Harvard) is Professor of Religion and Founding Director of the Centre for Iranian Studies at Concordia University in Montréal, Canada. Foltz's work has covered the full range of Iranian history and civilization, from pre-historic times up to the present day and on topics ranging from Animal Rights to Zoroastrianism. His most recent books are Iran in World History (Oxford University Press, 2015) and Religions of Iran: From Prehistory to the Present (Oneworld Publications, 2013).
