Sister Katy did an ultrasound scan on her Little Sister Morgan today! 🥰 Both sisters are accomplishing the Kappa Xi Alpha's Core Value of Learning. This value teaches each sister of Kappa Xi to strive for academic excellence and to continue learning inside and outside of school! Katy is a Junior in the DMS program and, currently, the Juniors are learning how to scan the veins and arteries of the body. The Juniors also have their externship drawing coming up, so good luck DMS class of 2022! #kappaxialpha #oregontech #dms #learning #sisterssupportingsisters

What happens if the recently landed Mars Rover, Perseverance, encounters mud or water? It would need to abandon its route. But Oregon Tech students are working on a new concept and design that would allow an amphibious submarine (Rover Sub) the ability to move around muddy areas with wheels and explore underwater with thrusters similar to a submarine. Teams are also working on RoboSub V2, an unmanned, untethered submarine system they'll take to an international competition this summer.
