This Humanities Center Graduate Liaison Network workshop will inform graduate students on their rights as workers within their departments. We will hear about what it means to work in a unionized workplace, when and how to file a grievance, and offer resources to mediate a conflict. Our panelists are Virginia Parks, PhD (Faculty Director, UCI Labor Center); Joel Block, Esq. (Retired Labor Attorney); and Jared Lee (Associate Omsbud; UCI Office of the Omsbud). Light refreshments will be provided.

Register at bit.ly/GLNFeb for in person attendance. For questions, please contact SueJeanne Koh at sj.koh@uci.edu.
