Join us as we welcome back Dr. Mimi Khúc as she leads a special interactive in person workshop to unpack our ableist and racialized assumptions about mental health through a special Asian American tarot deck produced by the Open in Emergency special issue on mental health by the Asian American Literary Review. Through this hands-on student-centered event, we will discern together the poisonous costs of trying to live into being the “good student,” and doing so imagine a life of student flourishing that centers actual wellness rather than ableist notions of resilience and grit.
