About Susan Davis
Susan Davis has published one book of poems, I Was Building Up to Something, in 2011. A second, Feet Like Water Lilies, is forthcoming. Her work has appeared in numerous journals, most recently the Cincinnati Review. She teaches creative writing at University of California, Irvine and to students in the township of Kayamandi, South Africa.
Ploughshares is an award-winning journal of new writing. Two out of each year's three issues are guest-edited by prominent writers who explore different personal visions, aesthetics, and literary circles, with the Winter issue staff-edited.
