The Anteater Virtues research and curriculum project that is directed by Professor Duncan Pritchard has been awarded almost $500K by the John Templeton Foundation to support a program of activities from 2024-27. The focus of these activities will be on whether educating for virtuous intellectual character changes the way students use AI. This is a follow-up grant to Professor Pritchard’s current $1M grant (2022-25) from the John Templeton Foundation to support the core activities of the Anteater Virtues project. As with the existing Anteater Virtues project, the new project will involve a collaboration between Professor Pritchard and colleagues in the Schools of Education and Sociology.
