This Graduate Liaison Network panel will cover the ins and outs of navigating the academic job market in the humanities, from finding relevant postdoctoral and tenure-track positions, to compiling successful application materials, to preparing for campus visits and beyond. Panelists will include Dr. Jon Pitt (assistant professor of East Asian Studies at UCI), Dr. Sheiba Kian Kaufman (assistant professor of English at Saddleback College), and Dr. Ka-Eul Yoo (UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellow). All graduate students are encouraged to attend, from first-years curious about the academic job-seeking process to those actively seeking a position. Register at this link.
