Dan is a scholar and leader in trans Latinx studies who works closely with local Latinx queer communities. Their dissertation, titled “Refusing Spectacle: Trans Latinx Counter-Security Media,” explores how trans Latinx activist media is used to challenge a variety of borders (carceral, national and digital borders of belonging). 

Xuxu Song is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in German in UCI's Department of European Languages and Studies where her research focuses on Early German Romanticism.

Dalton Salvo is a UCI Ph.D. candidate in English who’s researching the effectiveness of virtual environments.

Kylie Ching is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in UCI's Visual Studies Program. She is interested in bridging her academic research with museum spaces to reach diverse audiences and collections.
