Isabella Cosse is a renowned scholar of gender, childhood, and mass media in late twentieth century Argentina & Latin America. She is Professor of History at the Universidad Nacional de San Martín, Buenos Aires and senior researcher at CONICET (National Council of Scientific and Technological Research). Her books include Estigmas de nacimiento (Fondo de Cultura Económica, 2006), Pareja, sexualidad y familia en los años sesenta (Siglo XXI, 2010); and Mafalda: A Social and Political History of Latin America’s Global Comic (Duke University Press, 2020).
