A Workshop on Pedagogy and Kindness: Identifying Structural Inequities in Academia 

Wednesday, December 4, 2024 | 2:00-4:00PM | Humanities Gateway (HG) 1002 

We invite you to attend this upcoming Fall workshop on the practice of kindness and pedagogy in academia. Our presenters will discuss how and when to address and seek out support when experiencing microaggressions in academic settings. Workshop attendees will acquire practical approaches to acts of discrimination and elevate their own skills as well as expertise in navigating systemic inequity. Ultimately, our aim is to honor our wellness and our cumulative experiences as intellectuals, teachers, and leaders in our own communities.
