Native American Heritage Month

This month of November we celebrate Native Americans, the original inhabitants of our country, including Acjachemen and Tongva peoples. These peoples continue to acts as stewards of their land.

We encourage everyone to explore and practice cultural awareness on campus this month.

The rich diversity of our UC Irvine community is one of our greatest strengths, and Native American Heritage month is a special opportunity to learn from other cultures.
