The Bowdoin Journal of Art, a collegiate journal of art history that publishes scholarly work from undergraduates in colleges around the world, is currently accepting submissions for their seventh volume.
The Journal, one of the only academic art publications that uniquely feature undergraduate work in art history, is interested in publishing work that offers deep insights and unique perspectives on different traditions of art. This is a great opportunity to publish that high-quality essay you wrote!
Every essay received will be peer-reviewed; if selected for publication, the essay will be sent back to you to be revised prior to final publication. Once published, your work will become part of an online resource that will fuel discourse and research within the art history community.
To submit, please email: journalofart@bowdoin.edu with an attached file of your essay as a Microsoft Word document.
Please include an abstract (100-175 words), your bibliography, and any images you reference in your essay.
Lastly, please indicate your full name, your college or university, and your class year in your email.
