Do you have what it takes to make a short film in 24 Hours? Assemble your crew, grab some coffee, and go make some movies!

Student groups will have exactly 24 hours to create a short film. Each film must include certain requirements that will be revealed at the start of the 24-hour period: one line of dialogue and one prop.

Props and dialogue prompts will be handed out at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10th in HG 1070.

Only one member of your group needs to be present to pick this up. The entirety of your film should be written, filmed, and edited by members of your group during this time period. Films will be DUE by 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11th via Google Drive submission. Films must be uploaded by 4:00 pm on that day (verified by Google Drive timestamp) to be eligible for award consideration!

Join us on the following Friday, April 17th at 5pm for a screening of all of the short films in McCormick Screening Room to celebrate your work!

Register with a team of up to 6 UCI students (undergraduate or graduate) of any major or discipline, who will serve as both crew and key talent in your short film. Films must not exceed six minutes in duration, including credits. Bring your own gear and be ready for anything!
