Join us for an interactive discussion about the use of open source software for teaching, research, and other tasks. We will share recommended tools and talk through how we identify and evaluate open source software for features including functionality, sustainability, security, and more.

This event is part of the UC Irvine Digital Humanities Exchange (DHX) public program and campus workshop series. DHX, which is colead by UC Irvine Libraries Data, Publishing, and Digital Scholarship department and UC Irvine’s School of Humanities, fosters connections within the Humanities and with other researchers across the campus and promotes the development of digital tools and formats for the Humanities.
