Sharing silence is a timeless practice of personal repair & collective transformation.

Each week we’ll be silent together. Usually, we'll sit for 20–30 minutes of silence. Sometimes, we'll also hear from a UCI community member about a tradition, philosophy, practice or research area of silence. We share conversation over tea and biscuits and leave more rooted for what’s next.

This fall, we'll hear from individuals about silence in Anabaptist-Mennonite peacebuilding, applications of silence in Jain tradition, and others.

To receive the weekly email update and/or express interest in sharing a perspective of silence, please reach out to Prof. Brianne Donaldson (b.donaldson@uci.edu).

Tea & snacks provided. This will take place in Krieger Hall 229 (Directions).

Facilitated by UCI Religious Studies, with support from Addressing Bias & Building Community (ABC@UCI)
