The Humanities Commons invites Orange County cultural organizations to apply to host a Public Fellow intern in 2017.  The Humanities Out There Public Fellows Program provides UCI humanities PhD students the opportunity to apply skills such as research, writing, and analysis on projects of benefit to the host organization.  Through a grant from the Luce Foundation, the Public Fellows will provide 3 types of internship opportunities for humanities PhD students:
  • one afternoon a week in Winter and Spring quarters (5-7 positions)
  • 20 hours a week for 10 weeks in Spring quarter (2 graduate student research positions)
  • 20 hours a week for 10 weeks in the summer (2 graduate student researcher positions)
