Meet the Editor: A Talk on Publishing for Graduate Students and Early Career Faculty

Meet Emily Simon, the Editor in Philosophy, Religion, and Critical Theory at Columbia University Press. Prior to joining the Columbia UP team, she worked in editorial and production at the MIT Press. She has a PhD in English from Brown University, where she studied contemporary poetics, aesthetics, and materialisms and worked at the journals NOVEL and differences.

Simon will focus on the process of writing first books as well as share her own career path in publishing.
