The UCI Humanities Center Peer Connections Network is a graduate student-led initiative that focuses on fostering collaborative relationships and community across different departments and graduate programs. Since the size of graduate student cohorts in the School of Humanities grows smaller, cultivating cross-departmental relationships becomes vital to ensuring that our scholarly community remains vibrant and mutually supportive. We believe that interdisciplinary exchange not only enriches individual work but also opens the door to new collaborations, shared methodologies, and innovative approaches that no single department could generate on its own. To facilitate these productive collaborations, the Peer Connections Network will host several casual and co-working events throughout the academic year to bring graduate students together. All graduate students from the School of Humanities and humanistic social sciences are welcome!
